What Vehicles Are You Qualified to Drive with a CDL?

The federal government separates Commercial Driver's Licenses into three distinct categories. Individual states, such as Pennsylvania and Ohio, are required to issue a CDL to drivers according to the following license classifications:

Class A: Any combination of vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Class B: Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds GVWR.
Class C: Any single vehicle or combination of vehicles that does not meet the definition of Class A or Class B, but is either designed to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver, or is placarded for hazardous materials.

Some of the vehicles for which you must complete CDL Truck Driving School Pennsylvania include, but are not limited to: buses, tractor-trailers, tow trucks, forklift operators, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment operators.

What Does the Commercial Truck Driving Program at NCST Have to Offer You?

The Commercial Truck Driving program at NCST has been designed to be one of the industry's leading CDL Truck Driving School Pennsylvania programs. The courses we offer qualify students for various entry-level positions as drivers in over-the-road or local driving vehicles.

CDL Truck Driving School Pennsylvania can be completed in as little as six weeks for those students who attend a full-time session, but NCST also offers our Commercial Truck Driving program on a 15-week, part-time schedule for students who find attending classes on weekends more convenient!

Full-Time: Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4pm 6 weeks
Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 4pm 15 weeks
