Schedule Your CDL Skills Test
Before you can begin a career as a truck driver, you need to take and pass your CDL knowledge and skills tests.
The knowledge, or written, test can vary depending on the class of permit you want to obtain. These tests can be taken at your local DMV/BMV, and once you pass, you are ready to take your skills tests.
Based on Federal CLP requirements, you’re required to have a passing score for:
- Pre-trip inspection along with a full “in-cab” brake test
- On-site backing skills test (3 different maneuvers)
- On-the-road driving skills test
Each of these tests can be completed at Truck Testing Service (TTS), a PA State Department of Transportation Certified CDL skills testing site.
If you would like to schedule your skills test, contact TTS today.
