Industrial Maintenance Training Program for Butler | Boardman | Struthers | Pennsylvania

Industrial maintenance does not refer to one specific trade but a combination of skills that incorporates many of the other trades. Unlike other industrial maintenance training programs, students that graduate from NCST will not only be able to demonstrate their knowledge of these skills in any work environment but also receive a two-year, specialized AST degree.

A graduate of this program will be equipped to find work in an industry where the skills they have developed are required to inspect, maintain, and service the equipment and facilities that companies rely on in day-to-day life. Typical assignments that NCST graduates receive in a facility maintenance position are related to these areas:

  • Plumbing
  • Boilers
  • Heating and Cooling
  • Electrical
  • Industrial Mechanics
  • Alternative Energy Systems Maintenance

With the ever-increasing cost of materials and equipment, it is essential for businesses and facilities to maintain the machines that they use on a daily basis. This means that there is a very high demand for individuals who have a broad knowledge and skills base. The Industrial Electro-Mechanical program in New Castle, PA balances classroom instruction with hands-on training. Some of the courses required by students include:

  • Electrical Services
  • Combination Welding
  • HVAC
  • Solar Power
  • Wind Power Generation
  • Basic Rigging & Forklift Operation

Wind and Solar Power Systems

There are many other industrial maintenance training programs out there but NCST is one of the very few that educates students on renewable energy generation systems as well. This industry has helped to save both the average homeowner as well as large companies significant amounts of money and paved the way for the easy adoption of clean, renewable energy sources. The market for wind and solar power systems has increased so much over the past few years that, quality wind power training and solar power training is in high demand.

Go Green with NCST’s Renewable Energy Training Programs

The renewable energy-training program at New Castle School of Trades includes two of the largest alternative energy categories: wind power generation and solar power generation. Both of these fields offer outstanding career opportunities. As a trade school, NCST’s goal has always been to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to make them successful.

Get Training for Wind Turbine Technician

One of the best ways to harness the earth’s energy is through the power of the wind. The popularity of these huge windmills continues to increase throughout the United States. Today we see not only commercial applications of these giant wind turbines, but models specifically designed for residential use. NCST’s wind power training shows students how to properly install and maintain these wind-powered generators.

Solar Panel Maintenance Training

In the last decade alone, residential and commercial solar power systems sales have increased substantially. As a business owner, the idea of saving money after only a few years of paying off the equipment is worthwhile. However, maintaining this equipment can be difficult if it is not handled by someone who has been given quality hands-on solar power experience. NCST’s solar power training provides students with opportunities in learning about these systems, both grid-tied PV systems and stand-alone systems. Students will also have the opportunity to design and complete a variety of renewable energy projects through the program.

I loved being a student at New Castle School of Trades. The instructors were awesome and will go above and beyond to make sure you understand everything they are teaching. I recommend NCST if you are looking to take the next step in life.
